OUR JOURNEY SO FAR
NCD Consultants was established in 1997 as a sole proprietary to provide structural engineering
consultancy services. In 2007, NCD Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. was registered as a private liability as the company
prepared to take on consultancy services in large scale developments around the world.
Over the past two decades, both local and foreign clients and architects have trusted NCD with delivering robust,
buildable and efficiently designed structures. Our team is dedicated in seeking divergent solutions to continuously
changing global circumstances. We value aesthetics, elegance and sustainability as much as our clients do. This
inspires us to constantly strive for innovation and expansion of our knowledge base. This is the foundation upon
which our reputation is built.
As a truly Sri Lankan organization we are committed to serve our country and the environment in every venture we undertake. We embark on many voluntary projects for places of religious and educational importance. Every year we provide training opportunities for undergraduates and Engineers who wish to qualify them as Chartered Engineers.
ENG. NANDANA ABEYSURIYA

Eng. Nandana Abeysuriya graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering specialising in Civil Engineering, from the Faculty of Engineering at University of Peradeniya in 1986. After working in both government and private sector for more than a decade, Eng. Nandana established NCD Consultants as a start-up Structural Engineering Consultancy practice in 1998.
Eng. Nandana read for his Master of Engineering degree at the University of Moratuwa, specialising in Structural Engineering Design which he completed in 2005.
He obtained his Chartered Engineer status from the Institution of Engineers’ Sri Lanka (IESL) in 1990 and is a Certified Structural Engineer authorised to design buildings of more than 20 Storeys (High-rise). Eng. Nandana was inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers’ Sri Lanka in 2009 followed by the International Professional Engineer (IntPE) status in 2010.
Moreover, Eng. Nandana currently participates as an exam panel member for High Rise building category registration at IESL. Also he contributes to the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) as a Credential Committee member.
Further, Eng. Nandana was the President of the Society of Structural Engineers’ Sri Lanka (SSESL) from 2019 to 2021, and the first President of Peradeniya Engineering Faculty Alumni Association (PEFAA) – Colombo Chapter.

At NCD Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, our strength lies in our experienced team and our collective commitment to achieving excellence in our work.
